What this site collects, why, and what you can ask us.

Last updated: 2 September 2026

Who handles your data

The data controller is Nightkids 2.0, Italian tax code (codice fiscale) 97901490017. For any request about your data, write to info.nightkids2.0@gmail.com.

If you sign up for updates

When you leave your email in the shop form we collect only that, and we use it to tell you when the merch drops or something changes about the meets. The legal basis is your consent: without the checkbox the form does not submit.

The address is stored on Resend, the service that handles our emails, and stays there until you unsubscribe. You can do that any time from the link at the bottom of every email, or by writing to us — no explanation needed.

Visit statistics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to know how many people come by and how fast the site is. They set no cookies and do not follow you across other sites: a visitor is identified by a hash built from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours.

All that is kept about a visit is data like this:

  • the page you opened and the page you came from
  • country, region and city as reported by the connection
  • browser, operating system and device type
  • network speed and page loading times

Server logs

The site is hosted on Vercel, which records incoming requests — IP address included — to keep it running and to defend it from abuse and attacks. That is a legitimate interest, ours and yours: no website stands up without those logs. We do not use them to profile anyone.

The “I'll be there” button

When you confirm you are coming to a meet we increase a counter: we do not store who you are, and the number leads back to no one. The fact that you already clicked stays on your device, so the button is not counted twice. Clear the site data in your browser and it is gone.

Photos from the meets

In the gallery and on the event pages we publish photos taken at the meets, where recognisable people may appear. If you are in one of them and would rather not be, write to info.nightkids2.0@gmail.com: we take it down, no questions asked.

Who else sees this data

We do not sell or hand over data to anyone. It is processed on our behalf only by the services that keep the site running:

  • Vercel — hosts the site, produces the visit statistics and stores the gallery photos
  • Redis (enabled through the Vercel marketplace) — the database holding the site content: next meet, partners, past events, attendance counter
  • Resend — sends the emails to subscribers and keeps the address list
  • Google — only if you click to load the map on the events page: from that moment the map is Google content, with its own cookies

Some of these providers are based in the United States: transfers rely on the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, object to the processing, or hand it to you in a readable format. If you gave us consent, you can withdraw it whenever you want: what was done before stays valid, from then on we stop.

Write to info.nightkids2.0@gmail.com. If you think we are getting it wrong, you can contact the Italian data protection authority, the Garante (garanteprivacy.it).

Minors

In Italy you can consent on your own to the processing of your data for an online service from the age of 14 (art. 2-quinquies of the Italian Privacy Code). Below that age the consent of whoever holds parental responsibility is required: if a subscriber is under 14, write to us and we remove the address.

If something changes

When the site changes — a new service, one more piece of data — we will update this page and the date above.
